PIAB Becomes INJURIESBOARD.IE with Introduction of Online Personal Injury Claim Processing
Content Management System Core to New InjuriesBoard.ie Web Functionality
InjuriesBoard.ie is the new web-friendly identity of the Personal Injuries Assessment Board ['PIAB'] - the independent statutory body that assesses the amount of compensation due to a person who has suffered a Personal Injury - which today launched a comprehensive range of new and enhanced services.
The expanded services, which will be underpinned by a multi-dimensional new website developed by pTools, will include; online claim applications (available 24/7), an online claims Estimator to provide guidance on the levels of compensation payable to accident victims, multi-lingual guides for non-national Claimants and a health and well-being section to assist recovery following an accident. As the online service evolves and in line with best practice in eGovernment, InjuriesBoard.ie aims to introduce online tracking of claim applications.
The Injuries Board website and application system uses pTools software to provide Content Management (CMS) and online Forms functionality. pTools specialises in business critical and transaction content systems that enable end-users to easily manage complex information. The system for the Injuries Board was implemented in conjunction with key users and allows staff at the board to manage content with ease. It also allows people making an online Personal Injury application to work through the step-by-step process in a secure environment, giving them the option to return to and update their application at any time.
