Overall Job Purpose
To assist management in financial planning and general day-to-day finance requirements including oversight of internal / external book-keeping and accounting services and support.
This role is a permanent position and will offer experience and exposure to the successful applicant. The successful candidate will be responsible, with the assistance of external and internal professional support, for the preparation of management accounts, time and billing management, cash and account management, finance process re-engineering and improvement, currency management, reporting and revenue, grant applications processing.
Knowledge / Skills / Qualifications required
- Minimum 2 years experience within Financial Services Industry/Accounting firm.
- Interest in progressing to general business CFO role in technology firm.
- Undertaking professional accountancy exams.
- Strong Sage and Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly motivated, with the ability to deliver and work autonomously when required.
