Constantin Gurdgiev Lecturer
Constantin Gurdgiev teaches investments, impact finance, corporate finance and risk and VUCA analysis at the Northeastern University (Boston, USA), Trinity Business School, Dublin (Ireland) and the Presidio Graduate School (San Francisco, USA). His expertise and academic research are concentrated in the fields of investment markets, geopolitical and macroeconomic risk, uncertainty and complexity analysis, and Environmental, Social and Governance impact finance. Professor Gurdgiev advises a range of institutional and professional investors through his consulting practice, macroview.eu. He is a co-founder and the Board Member of two charities working with the issues of financial inclusion and empowerment in Europe. He chairs the Board of Directors in a s non-profit organization and a Risk and Audit Committee of another organization. In the past, Professor Gurdgiev served as Associate Professor of Finance with Middlebury College (USA), Head of Macroeconomics with the Institute for Business Value, IBM, and Director of Research with NCB Stockbrokers, Ltd (Ireland). He splits his working and personal life between Ireland and California and is an avid mountaineer, fly fisherman and forager in his free time.

|Tiaan Bazuin has been the Chief Executive Officer of the Namibian Stock Exchange since 2013. He is an admitted Legal Practitioner in the High Court of Namibia and a business executive primarily focused on governance, regulatory and legal aspects in telecommunications, banking and capital markets and regulated exchanges.|
|Kevin Bourne is the former Global Head of Sustainable Investment at FTSE Russell, and former Global Head of Electronic and Portfolio Trading at HSBC. He was appointed to FTSE as Managing Director & Head of Sustainable Investment. His appointment was subsequently extended to simultaneously include the role of Managing Director & Global Head of Database Services for the London Stock Exchange Group which included management of several core data product platforms within the group including SEDOL, ISIN, LEI & UK Corporate Actions.|

Jefferson Braswell is the CEO and founding partner of Tahoe Blue Ltd and has been active in the development of financial industry applications for over 30 years. He has delivered comprehensive risk management solutions to many of the world’s largest financial institutions. He has just retired from a 6-year term on the Board of Directors of the Global LEI Foundation (GLEIF), where he chaired its Technical and Operations Standards Committee, and he is currently the Chair of the Board of the ACTUS Financial Research Foundation.
Mike Byrne was appointed Chief Executive Officer of GS1 Ireland in January 2012. Prior to joining GS1 he was Chairperson and Commissioner of Ireland’s Electronic Communications Regulatory Authority (ComReg) and was also the elected Chair of the European Commission’s strategic advisory body on the use of radio spectrum, the Radio Spectrum Policy Group (RSPG).
Tomás Carruthers initiated Project Heather as a platform to progress the social finance vision he developed whilst CEO of the Social Stock Exchange. Bringing over 25 years experience and a reputation as a pioneer in his field, Tomás draws on his previous entrepreneurial successes, including CEO of Interactive Investor. He recently became a finalist at the 3rd Scottish SME Business Awards 2019.
|Aron has worked in institutional treasury for over 20 years, building global treasury teams and strategic resources for clients. Aron co-founded the Global Cash Business at JP Morgan and helped grow it to $250 billion in assets. While at JP Morgan, Aron ran the Institutional Treasury Group in the Americas, which provided treasury management solutions for multinational corporations and public sector clients. In addition, Aron led the effort to create JP Morgan’s Global Cash Portal that gave clients online access to manage assets and reporting on their JP Morgan products, and he launched the firm’s first institutional offshore money market fund for use by multinational corporations.|
Stephanie Dossou Director of Artificial Intelligence
Stephanie Dossou previously worked at the School of Computer science and statistics, Trinity College Dublin. She does research in visual arts, Financial Economics and Artificial Intelligence.
|Joe Gavin is partner and Head of Financial Services at ByrneWallace. With over 30 years’ financial services experience in Ireland, Europe and the United States, Joe advises clients on a broad range of regulatory and compliance issues which may affect their business. His expertise ranges from setting up funds to debt structures, advising on creditors' rights to coordinating high court applications, structuring to restructurings and enforcements including liquidations.|
|Allan is the President and founder of the Financial InterGroup of companies in the USA. FIG has created and/or invested in a number of start-ups and has patents and trademarks on breakthrough products and businesses in the financial services industry. FIG also formed joint ventures with exchange, clearing houses and technology companies and has advised many of the largest financial enterprises globally.|

|Francis Gross is a senior Advisor in the Directorate General Statistics of the European Central Bank where his immediate focus is on the “real world - data world” interface, primarily object identification. His interests include developing vision and strategy for overcoming the dual disruption of rapid globalization and digitization, as well as designing and driving the implementation of concrete, feasible measures with transformational power to ultimately deliver measurement tools effective at the scale and speed of today’s finance, especially in a crisis. He serves on the Regulatory Oversight Committee of the Global LEI System (GLEIS) and has been instrumental in the emergence and development of the GLEIS.|
|Independent Technology Advisor|
|Reto is an Independent Technology Advisor to the C-Level and Boards. He is a member of the Technology and Cybersecurity Committee of the Malaysian Stock Exchange, He supports banks, central banks and exchanges in the adoption of digital technologies. He is the author of the book "Digital Spine: A Study in Business Strategy". Prior to his independence, he was with IBM serving as the CTO for Banking and Financial Markets covering Asia Pacific.|
|David is an experienced financial crime mitigation expert. Currently the Head of Financial Crime Mitigation within the Business Solutions Group of Temenos is an industry veteran of over 20 years. Throughout his career, David has worked with banks from APAC, to EMEA, Europe and North America in how to best utilise and adopt a risk based approach to regulatory requirements. David is a specialist in available solutions for Sanctions and PEP checking, KYC Assessment, AML Transaction Monitoring and Fraud Mitigation, and is not only of course a Temenos product specialist, but in previous roles worked with IBM after a long stint with the Irish firm, Norkom Technologies who were acquired by BAE Systems.|
|Paul has been leading the LEI initiative from the early stages of developing the standard through to the implementation in partnership with DTCC of the largest LEI issuer to date (the GMEI Utility). He is also managing the BIC standard registration authority role. His current role consists of helping financial market participants and regulators with the adoption of international standards such as ISO 20022 for regulatory reporting. He has more than 15 years of experience in reference data management and ISO data standards across both operations and marketing. Previous experiences include delivering different strategic financial industry wide initiatives and Group Treasurer. Prior to joining SWIFT, he worked at Société Générale. Belgian.|
Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation
Clare Rowley is the Head of Business Operations at the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF). Prior to working with GLEIF, Ms. Rowley worked at the United States Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation where she led technology initiatives improving bank resolution programs and contributed to research on subprime mortgages.
|Mark had the responsibility for delivering technology and data-centric business solutions for the Irish Stock Exchange’s customers covering trading technologies, information products, website and digital commerce. The ISE has over 35,000 securities issued by 4,000 organizations from 85 countries around the world listed on its four markets.|
Monica Singer is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors. She is a Board Member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Board Member of the Accounting Blockchain Coalition which sets the audit accounting and tax guidelines for crypto assets based in the USA. She is also a Professor of Practice on blockchain at the University of Johannesburg. She was the first CEO of South Africa’s Central Securities Depository (CSD), Strate (Pty) Ltd which she set up in 1998.
|Tom Skinner has led the design and development of pTools software and solutions and has worked on every phase of company and product development since founding the firm. He is responsible for development of pTools LEI, ISIN, and Announcements applications and for pTools Digital Risk Mitigation platform and related Notarization, Blockchain, AI and Natural Language Processing technologies. pTools provides applications software and solution services to client companies including Stock Exchanges, NNAs, LOUs, CSDs, Central and Investment Banks.|

Ioanna Stanegloudi possesses significant experience within the fields of financial business modeling, as well as financial analytics for financial institutions and management consulting firms. Ioanna is the co-founder & Chief Risk Officer of Finclude, a pan-European scoring provider for individuals that assesses affordability & creditworthiness through spending behavior on transactional data.

Chief Representative in Europe
|Hideki Tomita's main roles at the London Representative Office are to research European securities markets and to introduce JPX listed products such as Japanese equities, ETFs, REITs, and derivatives to European institutional investors and brokerage firms. Prior to joining the London office, he experienced roles in a variety of different areas of JPX, including business planning for derivatives, settlement, listing, market surveillance and legal, before taking on a year’s secondment at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London. He holds a degree in Economics from Tokyo University and started his career at Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) in 1999.|

|Elena Ulianova graduated from the Tver’ State University with a degree in applied mathematics and cybernetics. She has worked in various depositories across Moscow developing different areas and is experienced in securities, codification and corporate actions. She led the projects that resulted in the launch of NNA and LOU, authorized to issue ISIN and LEI codes. She is currently the project manager at the National Settlement Depository at the Moscow Exchange group (Russia’s CSD).|
